Join Claire for an Online Linocut Printmaking Workshop. 
 
During the tutorial, you will be carefully guided through each stage of the linocut process.  
 
We will cover: the various types of lino and how to prepare them, how to use the carving tools with precision, the many different ways of making marks in the lino, how to plan a design, and different ways to transfer your design onto the lino, inking, blending colours by creating a gradient roll and how to get the perfect print every time.
 
You will be able to see the live demonstrations up close and follow along. There will be the opportunity to discuss your design ideas and you will receive individual feedback as you work.
 
You will need your own kit which you will learn how to use during the workshop.
After booking, Claire will send you her recommended kit list to get you started on your printmaking journey and let you know where you can order your lino and tools from.
 
After the workshop, you will also be emailed a copy of the Oxford Linocut Workshops guide booklet to remind you of all the techniques used on the day.
 
You will learn a great deal from this workshop and will gain the confidence and skills to continue printmaking at home.
 
The workshop will take place via Zoom and there will be a maximum of 6 guests to allow for plenty of individual tuition time.
