Frequently asked questions
Does it matter if I can't draw and is the class suitable for complete beginners?
It is absolutely fine if you've never done any linocut or drawing before. The workshops start with the very basics and the whole process will be carefully explained. There will be lots of inspiration to help you decide what you would like to carve. You can go at your own pace.
Is there parking?
Yes. There is plenty of free parking
What do I need to bring?
You may wish to bring some images or a sketch as inspiration for your linocut, this will allow for more carving time! However there will be plenty of inspiration to help you decide. All equipment and materials are provided as well as aprons.
Do you offer gift vouchers?
If you are booking a workshop as a gift please add a note to the booking and an eGift Card will be sent to you by email.
What can I expect to produce in the time and what will I take home with me?
By the end of the workshop you will have produced a set of hand printed cards or printed fabric depending on which workshop you choose. You will also have your carved lino block to take home which can be used over and over again.
